How an account moves
- An account arrives through the form or in a conversation.
- It is retold for the archive, with light editing.
- The retelling is published and stays in the archive.
- The submission is then deleted, along with any conversation recording.
The consent box on the form covers each of these steps, including any health details shared.
Names
A name appears only when one is given. A named account can have its name taken off the site on request. The account stays.
Optional, and used only for the mailing list of upcoming events. Never published, never connected to an account. Taken off the list on request.
Who sees what
- Published accounts: open to anyone.
- Submissions and the mailing list: the archive’s keepers — Ana, with Fiona and Megan supporting.
- Everyday tools keep the archive running: email, the form service Formspree, and GitHub, which hosts the site.
